PURDY - A county owned, LRI operated facility 14515 54TH Avenue NW, Gig Harbor Hours of Operation: 7 Days a week 9:00 am to 4:45 pm (with the exception of New Years, Christmas Eve, Christmas and Thanksgiving Days)

Residential Disposed Waste: $112.65* per ton Minimum charge of $20.78* per trip includes up to 400 pounds.

Commercial Disposed Waste: $112.65* per ton Minimum charge of $22.53* per trip includes up to 400 pounds.

Residential and Commercial Yard Waste - is free of charge. Commercial Land Clearing - Clean stumps, branches larger than 4" in diameter, brush, untreated wood products and unpainted wood products -$35.00 per ton. Bins for your residential recyclables are available.

Asbestos (permitting required) $150.00 per cubic yard Appliances with freon (includes refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, water coolers, etc.) $34.19 each* Other appliances, that do not have freon are accepted in the transfer station at garbage rates. Propane Tanks - $5.18 each* T.V.'s are $15.00 each Items not accepted at the Purdy Transfer Station: Hazardous Materials – - Please contact the Household Hazardous Waste Line at 1-800-287-6429 for further information about disposing of household hazardous waste materials.

Driving Directions: Directions from Tacoma: Take I-5 to the Bremerton/Highway 16 exit. Follow Hwy 16 across the Narrows Bridge to the Purdy/Key Center/Shelton exit. Stay straight to go onto Purdy Drive Northwest (hwy 302). Turn right onto 144th Street Northwest. Turn left into the entrance of the Purdy Transfer Station.

*State Refuse Collection Tax of 3.6% has been included in all disposed waste charges.
