An independent consulting firm, "The Watershed Company", has completed its review of the LRI Wetland Mitigation area. The wetland mitigation area encompasses approximately 80 acres in the northern portion of the LRI property. The Watershed Company reported to Pierce County that "the site is doing well and has met or exceeded several key performance standards". The report goes on to say that plant communities put on significant growth this year, performance goals for plant survival have been met and the density level is much greater than the target goals.
